About the artist

The artist's journey carries the rhythm of rupture and rebirth. Born into a creative household in Austria, with a father who painted, she nurtured a love for drawing and experimenting with techniques during her school years. Yet after completing her linguistics studies at the University of Innsbruck, she set her brushes aside for nearly 15 years-caught in the routines of professional life as an editor, far from her early impulses.

Her turning point came with motherhood. In the wake of giving birth, an unexpected torrent of inspiration emerged: images, ideas, and colors demanded to be transformed into paintings. From that moment on, creation became inseparable from daily life. Her canvases now carry not only her personal rediscovery, but also a philosophy: art should transmit emotion and provoke reflection rather than merely decorate.

Her works often reveal sharp contrasts— serenity and chaos, figuration and abstraction - exploring the fragile space where beauty and "ugliness" converge. The artist sees this as the essence of art: to invite dialogue, to spark curiosity, and to remind us that even discomfort has a rightful place on the canvas.

"There's something magical about standing in front of a canvas this size and letting colors take over. Each layer feels like a conversation, sometimes quiet, sometimes intense, but always leading me deeper into the work. That's the beauty of abstract art for me: it's less about control and more about listening to what the painting wants to become. Not everybody might like it, some might even find it ugly, but I firmly believe that uglyness has a place in art. And it sure will spark a conversation."
